Our client in the Construction industry has an immediate opening for a Pipe Layer.
***$150 SIGN ON BONUS IS INCLUDED ***
Location: Vancouver, BC
Wage: $36-$38/hr (Based on experience)
Start Date: 7:00am- 5:00pm (Monday-Friday)

Responsibilities:
• Install water, sanitary and storm sewer structures and pipe systems
• Lay out pipe routes, following specifications or blueprints, and coordinating layouts with supervisor
• Cut pipes to required lengths
• Connect pipe pieces and seal joints, using mechanical connections and fittings as required
• Grade and level trench bases, using tamping machines and hand tools
• Perform duties safely around mobile equipment and have a high sense of safety awareness while performing work
• Knowledge of pipelaying practices and commitment to safety
Qualifications
• 2-3 years pipe laying experience
• Must be able to work underground
• Have experience using demo saw
• Completion of secondary school
• Ability to read, write, and speak English is required
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times
• Must have prior pipe fitter experience
