CONSTRUCTION SITE SUPERINTENDENT
Duties & Responsibilities:

Direct field operations in the delivery of projects by adhering to schedules, budgets, safety and risk.
Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation
Effectively manage field employees by providing guidance and leadership on construction activities and developing effective communication between field and other project staff.
Allocate resources for assigned projects
Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs
Develop and execute project work plans aimed at keeping projects on track and on budget.
Provide senior level presence in the field, coach field staff on issue resolution, review site labour requirements, mentor field staff and perform succession planning.
Maintain high standard of workmanship that adheres to original plans and specifications
Complete daily online log reports.

‍Trade Knowledge Required:

Knowledge of trade mathematics and imperial and metric measurements.
Knowledge of the characteristics of construction materials and their proper use.
Knowledge of MS Office and windows-based computer applications. (Word, Excel, Outlook, and Project)
Experience in UDA
Qualifications Required:

Minimum 5 years of construction experience with a General Contractor in a leadership role.
Previous experience in construction management or other related fields
Familiar with construction management software
Strong leadership qualities
Strong negotiation skills
Deadline and detail-oriented
Post-secondary education.
